I have always dabbled in things creative and gain inspiration from the simpler things in life.  I love working with my creative hands whether it is in the kitchen, out in the garden, or in my studio. Fastenations Jewelry is handcrafted in my studio in Southern California from recycled buttons and each piece is a one of kind treasure.  I find it very rewarding to repurpose a material and give it a new artistic life and a unique charm that cannot be found from a mass produced item.  Searching for buttons locally and on my travels has become a passion of mine and each finished piece has a story of its journey. I believe in taking the time to ensure that each piece is well made and of the highest quality.
